Local & International Delivery 

 

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within a maximum of seven days and delivery will be confirmed via email. A tracking number will be supplied or made available, as requested.  The Customer must ensure that someone will be available at the delivery address during Business Hours (between 08:00 and 17:00 on Business Days) in order to receive delivery of the products. The Customer will be responsible for any additional fees that may be charged by the courier if no one was available to receive delivery of the order at the address specified by the Customer.  Free delivery to anywhere in South Africa.

Free international delivery on all orders over R5,000. However, local import taxes may be applied to deliveries outside of South Africa, which will be your responsibility. The customs office may hold your goods if the local import taxes are not paid. They usually will also charge you a holding fee if that happens. It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.

The customer takes full liability for all postal charges, return shipment costs, customs charges and handling fees should they refuse to accept a parcel due to import duties or taxes. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. Please note that we cannot undervalue orders.


Late Delivery 

 

TBHFS will make an effort to ensure that delivery takes place within the time period specified on the Website in relation to the Customer’s order. However, the size and quantity of an order as well as the distance between TBHFS and the delivery address provided, amongst other circumstances, may require a longer period for delivery.

The Customer will be notified from time to time of any anticipated delays with delivery and, in such circumstances, the updated delivery time will substitute and take preference over the delivery time stipulated in the confirmatory email or reflected on TBHFS’ invoice.


Return & Exchange Policy

You have 30 days from the date you received your order to exchange or return it. If more than 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you an exchange or return. We are only able to offer size exchanges. If you would like something in another style, please return the item instead, and purchase the new item separately. If an item is not available in a different size, we will process the exchange as a return. To be eligible for an exchange or return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, with all original tags and labels attached. It must also be in the original packaging. Returns that do not meet our policy will be sent back.

Only regular priced items may be refunded or exchanged, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged. To arrange for an exchange or return, send us an email at blackhippiefashion@gmail.com.  Please remember to include your order number in the email.

We will arrange to collect your return free of charge. Once the item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange or return.

If you are approved, then your exchange or return will be processed. In the case of a refund, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.

  • Description of Goods and Services

The Black Hippie Fashion Studio (TBHFS) is a business that designs and manufactures garments. Our products can be purchased directly from us, either online or from Koop Studio at Mall of Africa, as well as through third party retailers.

  • Payment Options Accepted

Payment may be made via Visa or MasterCard.

  • Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for TBHFS via Yoco (Pty) Ltd who is the approved payment gateway for all South African acquiring banks. Yoco uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.yoco.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy. 

  • Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by TBHFS separately from card details which are entered by the client on Yoco secure site. For more detail on Yoco refer to www.yoco.co.za

  • Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

  • Responsibility

TBHFS takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

  • Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and TBHFS chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

  • Variation

TBHFS may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
